The View Through the Looking Glass
I'm an avid reader and aspiring author with an unhealthy devotion to the written word. From the classics to guilty pleasures and all points in between...I just love to read. My primary focus at the moment is male/male romance, usually with a paranormal element thrown in. This is a place for me to rave about books I loved and rant about those I didn't.
I liked this book but it didn't grab me like some of the other stories. I like that we're going to get to know about some of "refugee" shifters that have taken up residence in Brac Village but it is getting rather confusing to keep the timeline in order since it's spread out over so many different series (Brac Pack, Zeus's Pack, Christian's Coven, Demon Warriors, The Exiled and now Brac Village).I have to admit I'm not at all looking forward to reading about the couple introduced at the end of the book as they are both quite unlikable and one (the one who commits the offenses in this book) is completely irredeemable to me at this point. I was looking forward to the other finding his mate b/c I had hope for him and thought finding his mate and finding love like his brothers had would go a long way towards calming his crazy but by putting Ceri with Virgil it pretty much killed my interest. If there's a character that I can honestly say I hate it's Virgil
